Theatre Projects

Supports professional theatrical exploration, creation, development, production and presentation, regardless of theatrical tradition — including artistic research, playwriting, workshops, single productions and festivals. Open to professional theatre artists residing in Ontario, not-for-profit Ontario theatre organizations, and ad hoc groups/collectives with a majority of Ontario residents. Does not fund amateur productions, tours or capital expenses. Apply through OAC's Nova portal; applications open roughly two months before the deadline (1 p.m. ET).
