Princess Cinemas

Two independent cinemas around the corner from each other in Uptown Waterloo. The Original Princess Cinema opened in 1985 in a historic 1844 building behind the Huether Hotel; the Princess Twin Cinema opened in 2005. Known for independent, repertory, classic, cult, and contemporary films. Owned by the Tutt family. Hosts the annual Rainbow Reels Queer Film Festival and other community screenings.
