The Jazz Room welcomes Toronto’s Bullen Family Band to our stage for the first time! Father Eddie Bullen alongside sons Quincy and Tré-michael will present a show of soul/R&B/funk favourites and originals. Eddie Bullen is a pianist, composer, arranger and Juno Award-winning producer. Since his move to Toronto from Grenada in 1980, Eddie has worked with Caribbean, Canadian and American artists like Melba Moore, Byron Lee, Maestro, Deborah Cox, and Dee Dee Bridgewater. He has produced over 200 albums and is always working on new ventures through his record company ThunderDome Sounds and publishing company QDB music. Quincy Bullen is a pianist, producer, DJ, and performer whose infectious energy and eclectic jazz, R&B and soul fusion has earned him a devoted following. As a classically trained musician, Quincy puts his own contemporary twist on musical genres by blending funk, electronic, hip hop and house. An energetic and engaging performer, Quincy’s stage presence keeps audiences entertained along with his incredible talent, and have made him a sought-after act at top festivals like TD, Montreal Jazz, and Caribana.
