Live Music Concert

Grand Philharmonic Choir presents Brahms: Ein Deutsches Requiem, one of the most deeply moving choral works of the Romantic period. Unlike traditional requiems, Brahms’ masterpiece focuses not on judgment, but on comfort for the living. With lush harmonies, profound poetry, and a deeply human sense of compassion, the work offers a powerful meditation on grief, hope, and consolation. This beautiful program also features two sublime works by Bach: O Jesu Christ, mein’s Lebens Licht and Ich Habe Genug, pairing Brahms’ Romantic warmth with Bach’s devotional depth. Performed with full choir, large orchestra, and outstanding soloists under the baton of Mark Vuorinen, this concert promises an evening of reflection, beauty, and transcendent music.
